I was so excited when Caitlin inquired with me last year because we have so much in common! We are both from Pittsburgh, moved to Tampa and we even named our dogs after our hometown! Her dog’s name is Kessel, named after a Pittsburgh Penguins player and my dog’s name is Steel. Andrew is also from Pittsburgh and they met in Kindergarten! They are such a sweet couple and I feel so grateful to have captured their wedding memories where it all began! Heinz History Center was the perfect wedding venue because they love their hometown and their cocktail hour had an incredible view of the skyline. They even had an amazing classic cookie table which is a Pittsburgh wedding tradition! Andrew’s father was the officiant for the ceremony in the library and it was so special! Everything about their day was absolutely perfect. Even the weather was beautiful and we all were saying that we felt like we didn’t leave Florida because it was so hot and sunny! For those of you who don’t know, Pittsburgh is the fourth cloudiest city in America and was voted the #1 gloomiest city a few years ago. Caitlin doesn’t miss the weather and we don’t either. I’m so incredibly happy for these two and I’m so glad we met! Caitlin and Andrew, thank you again for choosing me to be a part of your incredible day!
