Central Florida Vintage Farm Wedding Photo

There are so many reasons why I love being a wedding photographer. One of my favorite moments to experience at a wedding is watching the bride and groom realize how much their life has just changed. For Conner and Katie, this moment happened after they were pronounced husband and wife. Conner took her hand, looked down at her ring, smiled and then they both looked at each other. After five years of photographing weddings, I’ve never seen this happen but it was so sweet! Another one of my favorite moments is capturing the reaction of the groom when he sees his bride for the first time. Katie was an absolutely STUNNING bride and she took Conner’s breath away. His jaw dropped when he saw her. The tears of joy in his eyes and big smile were sweet enough to make anyone watching get emotional.

Conner grew up attending Good Shepherd church. It’s such a pretty, quaint little church in the country with beautiful scenery. We drove Katie with her bridesmaids in the Yukon down to the road with a gorgeous line of trees because there were a few dark rain clouds. We learned our lesson when we attempted to capture groomsmen portraits but there was one small rain cloud even though the forecast wasn’t predicting anymore rain. They had to run back into the church and wait for the raindrops on their suits to dry. If you’re thinking “Wow, she blogged a lot of bride and groom portraits at the church” it’s because there were so many favorites and I couldn’t choose! The sunlight during their portraits were absolutely stunning! Conner and Katie were unable to meet me for an engagement session before the wedding but they were so happy during their portraits and such a joy to be around! I was so excited to finally meet them in person and give hugs!

Their reception was held at a new venue that is a part of College of Central Florida. It’s a vintage barn converted into an event space. They have beautiful acres of land and gorgeous trees. Katie loves magnolias and they were everywhere! I absolutely loved being a part of their special day and celebrating with their sweet families! Congratulations Katie and Conner! I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Tennessee and reliving your wedding day through the blog! I’m so happy for you two!
