Beach weddings hold a special place in my heart! Michael and I were married by the ocean in North Carolina. One of my favorite things about photographing a wedding is that I’m never missing a moment. I love watching the groom’s face as she walks down the aisle but then I always can’t wait to look over and watch the parent’s faces after the father of the groom is seated. Their faces say it all. Weddings aren’t only about the bride and groom. It’s celebrating two people that have become the best that they can be so they could fall in love. Our friends and family mold and shape us into the people we are today.

My favorite part of the day was when the priest said “your parents have raised you well” and they both looked back at their parents. Family is everything! I knew that the most important photos to Allison were photos with her family and the other love of her life, Marcus. 😉 He’s the perfect pup and addition to their little family.

Originally we thought that maybe the wedding would be cancelled because of the hurricane but they were blessed with the most picture perfect weather! (With beautiful seaweed from the storms added a special touch to the photos.) The Sandpearl Resort is the perfect venue for a beach reception with your toes in the sand while watching the gorgeous sunset. Their warm, intimate summer beach wedding was gorgeous! This bride loves the royal family and she truly looked like a princess! Brian and Allison, thank you again for choosing me to capture these beautiful moments for you!
