Sammy and I became friends through Instagram and we both discovered that we work in Hyde Park Village. We met for coffee at Buddy Brew and have kept in touch ever since. I knew I would get along with Sammy because we both love southern weddings, Tampa and coffee! She just recently started a wedding planning business called “Jackson and June.” The name is inspired by the song,“Jackson” by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. It’s one of her grandma and grandpa’s favorite songs. It is also one of the songs that sparked her love for old country music. Old country music is a love that her and her husband share together.  They even played the song “Jackson” when they were pronounced husband and wife when they walked back down the aisle. Sammy loves organization and timelines. Alex gave her the courage to pursue her dream of owning a small business. She has a heart for helping brides with inspiration and planning every detail of their day. I was so honored to capture pictures for her website and anniversary.
