When we booked Natalie and Devan’s wedding date, we knew that it would probably be very hot! Florida summer weather can be very unpredictable because it’s rainy season but they had gorgeous blue skies for their wedding day! The temperature was 100 degrees- yikes! But I knew what we were getting into when reserving this date and it was totally worth it for these two! From the first time I met Natalie and Devan at their consultation, I knew we would get along so well because they are both absolute sweethearts! Plus- Natalie and I both love tropical and FL style- so I absolutely loved every single detail of their wedding! One of my favorite moments of the day was when Natalie gave her parents a handkerchief with a special note for each of them. Then her dad started crying and immediately used it to wipe his tears!
Natalie and Devan didn’t know if this day would even happen because of the virus. I was so excited to see all of their wedding dreams still come true! Surrounded by their family and friends in the light and airy Harborside Chapel, they said their vows and became Mr. and Mrs.! Their officiant gave the introductory speech and said “don’t grow weary of doing the work of love.” Everyone loved his words because they are so true! Love requires commitment and sacrifice and it’s also the greatest blessing being married to your best friend! One of my favorite parts of the day was watching her mom, twin sister and Devan’s mom because they were always smiling and had happy tears in their eyes!
The sun set really quickly that day so we went to the rooftop because we knew that would be where we had the most light for more bride and groom portraits. The sun was completely gone but the water and sky were SO BLUE! (Scroll to see at the end of the blog.)
We are so grateful to have been a part of this special day! I feel so honored to have celebrated with their sweet family and friends. Natalie and Devan, thank you so much for trusting us with your most precious memories! I hope you are enjoying your Honeymoon on the East Coast and relaxing on a beach chair viewing my favorite images from your day!
