Happy 1 week of marriage to Kyle + Kylee! These two high school sweethearts chose to keep their wedding date despite the pandemic. Michael and I were so impressed with how they remained joyful, happy and carefree despite the stress of the rain. The anxiety of the weather forecast is something that we completely understand because we experienced tropical storm weather on own wedding day 5 years ago! After their ceremony the rain stopped enough to capture their bride and groom portraits before dark! A world pandemic and pouring rain didn’t stop them from saying “I do!” They celebrated their reception on their first night in their new home with family and friends.
The day began at the most beautiful white and blue Airbnb in Dunedin and the boys were getting ready at St. Michael The Archangel. This church is where Kyle grew up and his family is on staff so getting married there meant a lot to him! The shade of pink she chose was so feminine and pretty and she looked GORGEOUS!
Kylee’s mom gave her a gift of her own wedding memories. She knew that her daughter would cry so she included a tissue from Kylee’s grandmother with their wedding date. I felt my eyes tearing up while capturing those moments! We loved celebrating with their sweet family. Kylee’s grandpa even asked me why I didn’t bring my dog, Steel. (That made me laugh!!)
One of my favorite memories of the day was reading the last few sentences in his letter to Kylee: “ Not only do I want to marry you but everyday I want to show you what ‘ I do ‘ means to me. I do to always loving you.” Kylee and Kyle, you two are so sweet and such a joy! We are so happy for you. Thank you again so much for trusting us with your wedding day memories! I hope you all enjoy some of my favorite photos from their beautiful day!
