It is truly special to photograph love in a place that means so much to the couple. Ashley + Michael flew from New York City to meet us in Saint Augustine. We strolled the historic streets during golden hour. The night before celebration was held on the terrace of The Casa Monica and their tent was filled with hugs and laughter.

On the wedding day, a storm came through so they weren’t able to get married outside in the courtyard of The Markland House as originally planned but they really enjoyed plan B. Their guests gathered in the rotunda of Flagler with candles surrounding them. It was an incredibly romantic setting. They danced the night away with a band playing classic rock music in the iconic Ponce De Leon ballroom. Fun fact: Ashley came home from work with a suitcase and roses in the hallway. Michael surprised her with a trip to London to see their favorite band, and planned a private tour the night before the concert. He proposed under the stars on the private viewing platform of Tower bridge with musicians playing and a photographer capturing it all!
